Talking Wiring Schematic

I just put my 72 Blazer back together with a new motor and I am having some problems with the ignition wiring. It starts okay but when the key is back in the run position there isn't any power to the coil. I am not so sure about the wiring because I just bought the truck and they have added an HEI distributor and done a few other hack jobs on the wiring. I was wondering if anyone has any wiring schematics that might help me sort this out, Thanks

Chris

You need to run a new coil wire anyway if you added HEI. The stock wire is probably a resister wire. Run a ten gauge wire from the fuse block to the HEI distributor. On the right side of the fuse block you should see where you can use a female spade to hook to (Ignition unfused) terminal, Hope this helps
