just like it says, do they exist? I HATE amp gages & want a volt gage that looks factory. I am not ready to go with the whole aftermarket gage look.

There was a guy who mounted a set of 73-87 gauges behind his 67-72 bezel, it looked extremely good, and looked very stock. I had to look twice to reconize what was different...

look in the FAQ...towards the back.There was a member who had one converted and he said he still knows the shop....screen name is ss500 or something like that, he has a caddy big block in his rig.

uhhh, this is where I start to feel stupid. I can fabricate, re-engineer suspension, diagnose driveability problems, & damn near everything else automotive related. but getting a plastic box with a synthetic brain to tell me what I want to know is beyond my reach.

I looked all over the FAQ section & even used the "advanced search" & came up with nothing. I beg you to enlighten me on the search for true wisdom (please help me find that info).

I just typed in voltmeter and came up with this:

I got a voltmeter out of a 73 to 87 dash that I am going to use. The style should fit right in no one will really be able to tell the difference unless you know that 70's only came with ampmeters.
