SCAM!!!! The first tip off is the auction in only for pre approved bidders. This is a variation of the fishing scam. Where they ask to verify that you have funds availble, then when you provide your account numbers they help themselves to it. Also look at shipping and payment options. It is a worldwide shipment and payment is with personal check or money order.

They post these cars on ebay all the time. It says "This listing is restricted to pre-approved bidders or buyers only" and you have to email them to get approved. DONT DO IT!!! its a scam. Once they get your addy you start getting all kinds of junk spam that will flood your email account.

That's not the right motor pic for a 69 Nova. They stopped using the shock towers in 67. The 68 and later used the same subframe as the 67-9 Camaro.

We all knew it was a scam, but I just had to do it to screw with them like they are with us... Here's the response I recieved. READ IT CAREFULLY and you will see many discrepancies in what they say, Like we have lost much money in the past !!! This was their FIRST auction, and they were newly signed in to E-bay. And notice NOW the Car is in EUROPE, not Canada....Also notice they say in one sentence they have removed it from Auction, but they have also contacted E-bay about possible sales pending..

Dear Customer,

In order to be pre-approved to buy please inform us if you ever purchased a high price item on eBay and let us know your Ebay user ID for additional verifications. We apologize for asking these questions but we had a lot of problems with non paying bidders in the past and we lost a lot of money in listing fees.

Our main center is located in Europe and we have recently opened new branches in US and Canada . We are trying to launch on the auto market by selling old cars at a promotional price. Our items and transactions are insured by Square Trade .

1969 CHEVROLET NOVA SS - Finished in its factory colour of code 10 Tuxedo black with a black bench seat interior. Powered by a numbers matching L78 396/375hp engine and M21 four speed transmission. Some other options include, power steering, power disc brakes, F41 suspension, tinted glass, SS rims with red line tires, smog system, am-radio, bumper guards, and more .An excellent older restoration in excellent condition. Priced below market for quick sale, no rust, minor dents. Great interior, no cuts, no scratches..just clean it will be perfect...with a minor restoration you will have a perfect car..., tires changed...and cleaned....

The car will be shipped from Europe by DAS insured cargo.Free shipping costs. Will come with clear title, bill of sale.

We asked eBay to end the auction because of high number of demands for our car. Because of your non-negative record on eBay we are currently processing your request to be pre-approved for :.

1969 CHEVROLET NOVA SS - Item # 2493982199- US $2700 BUY IT NOW

If your request will obtain a positive answer you will be informed by our Customer Department during the next hours. We already contact Ebay about a possible transaction and you Will receive an email from Ebay Safety Board.

Regards,

Ken Hoots

I received another response from this seller, I have forwarded both responses to E-bay.. As they use e-bay as a go between saying E=bay will be contacting me with information on this transaction.. Sure wish there was a way to stop this crap before it gets posted...
Hopefully, this is one Phony auction that will not burn someone.
