i just bought some 20s and i am looking for rubber for them. i really like the goodyear GTII in a 275/45. what do you guys think? also, do you think 275/45 tires will work with my 20s on my 72 that is dropped 5/7? the wheels are 8" wide.

troja...oh wait.

I always hear of people running BFG's on the low pro's now too. They have a great tread pattern and since they are BFG's I am sure they last a long time too. With a 5/7 drop and 20's you may run into the well's but I'm not positive. That is a pretty wide tire.

I can't tell you much about how they will fit with your drop other than giving you the advertised height. The 275/45/20 will be 29.74" tall.

What I can tell you is they are great tires, and almost impossible to beat for the price. I have had 8 to 10 sets of the Eagle GT II's in various sizes of 20's. The best mileage I got was from a set of 285/50/20's that I put on my 02 GMC 1500HD. I took them off at 67K miles and the tread still looked decent.

I did have a set of the 275/45/20's on an 01 Yukon XL that didn't balance well. It may have been the rims too though. I think I traded tires and wheels at about 30k and they were starting to look worn.

I "highly" recommend them....
