Almost done

Greetings all,

Well, it has been some time since I have posted on the board. I thought I might let you all know that the 472 powered chevy truck is almost on the road finally. I expect to have it done in the next 24 hours.

I do have to say this, BB caddy's with no exhaust sound really nice. hehehe

Well, I took it on the "maiden Voyage" this evening. Runs great. Lot's of power without being excessive. I will be going to a quieter exhaust at some point but it isn't as loud as most of the "hot rodders" in the area so I am happy with it.

I would highly recommend this swap for anyone wanting bigblock power without having to pay out the a$$ for a BB Chev.

Yes, the motor is stock. I have owned more than my share of horsepower in my lifetime and was looking for a basically stock runner.
