Radiator Overflow Bottles
I just recently picked up a couple of overflow bottles from some 80's G-Bodies at the local yard. Just installed them over the weekend I thought they came out looking pretty good.

Yes they mount next to the fender. G-Body: Monte Carlo, Regal etc.

Those look good. Couple questions:
Do you just run the radiator burp hose (or a longer hose from the same location) to the bottom of the overflow tank? How is the overflow tank mounted? Looks like bolts through the wheel well.

Just run the hose to the tank, get the proper rad cap, and you're set.
Travis, that is a pretty good fit there. Almost looks like it belongs there huh? Is it too close to the battery? It looks like it might hinder bettery removel a little. |

I have the same thing on mine, and it works great. It allows plenty of room for the battery to slide right in.And yeah looks like it came out with it on there.

From the pic it looks like the hood hinge might hit...But seeing how more than one person has done this I guess not...I guess I'll have to hit the yard's around Denver.

If you get the tank in just the right place, there is plenty of room for the hood hinge, and to get the battery out.

Thanks for posting neonlarry!. Do you just leave that overflow tank empty or should you put some antifreeze in it?.

I'll put antifreeze in but right now both are apart.
