I should have done this earlier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just pulled the bed this weekend! I should have done it allot sooner it would have made allot of this work much easier! I had to pull it to replace my cab corners and start getting the body ready for paint! I am going to borrow a soda blaster and rent a huge compressor and try to prep allot of parts in a weekend! I can also do allot of cleanup work with the bed off!

I plan on using the truck for street/strip action and it helps weight transfer plus it cleans thing up under the hood. the fuel cell is a used 16gallon with sender! I scored it for 65.00 at Super Chevy with the mounting straps. I was going to get one from summit the week before I am glad I waited. I ordered an aluminum door for the bed and a jaz extension. I am having to have the extension cut down some it sticks up through the bed otherwise.
The rear suspension is all stock except for coilovers instead of coil springs.

What coil overs exactly are you running? I'm looking to do that next. Tell me about your battery box design there. Is that something you bought or fabbed? I had the exact same idea but my welder took a crap and so I got stuck putting in in the bed...

Solver,
I am debating on selling the 67 it has a tbi 350 and a 700r4. I just need to finish getting it running and convert it to 5 lug I might take it to moultrie. Firstgen I am running a set of hal dragrace coilovers. I bought them at jegs. I bought their upper and lower mount kit also. I am going to do the same to my uncle's 66 soon and I think I'm going to by the whole kit from hal and get the street setup for his truck.

What do you think of those coil overs? I've never had a vehicle with them! Right now my ride is way too bouncy... And at the track it didn't hook on 11.5 et streets either!

I love them they ride good and hook good. I am running 12.5 inch sportsmanpro tires! I might want to try the drag radials like you just got.
