Wow that's a nice truck. Just my kind of 68 too! I wish my 68 were something other than all white.

That's about the only other 68 CST I've seen with an original factory bench seat. It sure has lots of goodies. CST, AC, Stab bar, Chrome hubcaps (They are really hard to find) 396, Auto, PB and steering.

I'd guess it'l make $10-12K

I only wish they'd post better pictures!

my guess is that it will never hit the reserve $ so we will never know.it is nice but it seems that most people will not go over $8500. for a long bed.80,000 miles isn't that great of a all original deal either. in the past year I have purchased 3 long beds 30,000 and 9,000 and 41,000 original mile rust free trucks all under $8,500.

Not saying that isn't 100% original but mine has some of the markings still on the firewall and they are in white. Just my two cents

interesting that it doesn't have the lower side trim being a CST...the ad says it was special ordered w/o the trim, but it is not noted on the option label.
Either way, that is a cool truck.

It doesn't explicitly state "original paint" I wonder if it's taken for granted or omitted intentionally? I would like to see the bed floor a little better as well.

Actually the trim and CST are seperate options on the 68's. Most were equipped as such.

If you look close, those numbers look like they have been traced over with a black pen. You can see the white under it. I also question a dash pad and weather stripping in that good of shape after 36 years. Still, it is a nice truck. Maybe I'm just too suspicious. I've heard too many E-Bay horror stories over on the Mopar boards.

I wondered about the firewall lettering too. It looks like it's been re-written perhaps.

Is that a smog pump on that 396? I was thinking that automatics shouldn't have the smog pumps.

It looks like it's been painted to me. I'd expect to see some more skuffing inside the bottom of the door under the vinyl and on the top of the rockers.

It's still a nice truck. I'd love to see it in person.

Fire wall

My 71 has those writtings but in blue. This isn't real good pic but you can see them pretty well.
But it does look like someone has done something with them.

my '68 has the markings in black just as they left the Case farm implement dealer when new.

I would bet that the paint is not original. It is way too shiny, especially considering it is from Arizona. My 69 is about the same color and the markings on my firewall are in black.

After looking through the restoration catalog, it is indeed true that the side molding was not included in the CST package in 68.
It lists HD rear springs...but the ones shown are not HD.
The rear bumper is not listed on the option sheet.
