Fuel Inlet nut on carb Question

I just changed my fuel filter and when I put the fuel inlet nut back in the carb its like it won't go back right. I have it tightened down enough and I even put Blue silicon gasket on it and it still leaks like a waterfall. What is wrong. I have screwed it and unscewed it to make sure it is right and it is. What should I do?

I think some, if not all quads had a plastic washer of some sort that goes on there. Just an idea for you, if it's a quadrajet.

Yeah, Q-jets have a plastic washer at the end of the threads on the inlet adapter. Don't remember the size but you could try your local parts dealer.

Ya it is the q-jet and there is no washer on mine. So I should try and get this and this will work better then the blue silicone?
