My 69 K-20 New to Me
I am picking up a 69 in 2 weeks. Detail are:
Sheet metal is all straight Rust in front right fender, truck comes with replacement fender 4 speed with a NP205 transfercase 350 motor, 4 barrel Holley double pumper, comes with Quadrajet also Runs good, hole in headers and rest of exhaust needs replaced Minor rust at bottom front corner of left door No visible rust problems in rocker or floor area The bed is fleetside in excelent shape no dings or rust excelent tailgate grill is cherry good front painted factory bumper homemade box tube rear bumper ( has to go!) windshield has a long crack (needs replaced, but intact for now) comes with 2 saddle tanks and a spare in cab tank 16.5 factory wheels and very new AT radials 9.50x 16.5 newer seat is included with a factory radio spare window regulators and gauge panel from 72 truck lots of misc. spare parts Basicaly a sound truck that has good potential.3 different colors of body panels and a 4th different colored fender. Price aggreed to 1800 dollars and another 400 for the radial tires mounted up by Les Schwab. for 2200 total 200 dollars for new headers 400 for dual exhaust all new 200 for windshield installed 30 -50 dollars for some flat black primer to make the truck one color temporarily befor a paint job Round off to at least another 1000 on top of the 2200 for 3200 for a decent looking and running truck. eventualy new or rebuilt engine, clutch and brakes etc. How am I doing so far??????
