Picked up my 2wd Jimmy this weekend!

I bought this Jimmy off Ebay. I am sure a lot of you saw it. I am very pleased. It has factory tilt, A/C, PS, and PB. It needs a little work, but a very solid truck.
The first thing I have to do is get new springs. I don't know how the PO drove it like this. It has 2.5" drop spindles and horribly hacked up springs all the way around. I think I will go with 6" springs for the rear and 1" springs for the front. That should level it out nicely, and still keep it low with the 2.5" drop spindles on the front.

The Jimmy isn't as nice as that pic makes it look, but it's not a junker either. I need to get out and take more pics, but it's dark now. I have only driven it for about half a mile, and haven't been home for very long so I haven't had a lot of time to go through it.
The factory air needs to be hooked up and charged. The PO removed the compressor, but I have it with all the brackets.
The engine has a little cam to it, a Performer intake , and a holley carb.
The rear bumper has to go, it is fugly.
The PO rear ended someone with a hitch and pushed the grill in. You couldn't open the hood without reaching up and monkeying with the hood latch. I hooked a winch up to a tree tonight and pulled it back out. If it wasn't for the scratched paint you wouldn't be able to tell.
It came with an extra top, grill, and rusty doors.

As it stands right now, I might be bringing home another one

It took me yeras to find one...and now within 2 months I may have two.

Remember seeing it on ebay....thought about it.

Just sold a 76, have a 77 on the side. Trying to decide to sell or not.

Just picked up a nice 78, been working on it all week.

All 2wd units.

No, wasn't mine.

Haven't decided yet to sell right now, that is unless someone came along with the right amount in cash.

Have to check it out, what were they asking for it?
