Buckets & Console

I got lucky and was at the wrecker when a 96 Silverado ext cab with buckets and console showed up. I bought the buckets and console right away and want to get them installed soon as possible. I also have an ECE rear frame mounted gas tank I want to install as well. Would I be better to install the bucket seats after the in cab/factory gas tank is removed? I'm thinking I might be to mount the buckets the further back (for my long legs) with the tank gone or maybe it won't make any difference. My truck is a 72 Chev longbox and am wondering if anyone has installed a set of these seats in a 67/72 and if so is it hard easy and is there anything I should lookout for or do to make the job easier ?

I think he thought your seats were for sale. If you're looking for info on fitting your seats into your truck, you really should post over on the message board. I'm sure there are plenty of guys over there that will help you out with your questions. .............Jerry
