Livingroom assembly pics

I haven't posted much before, but I love this board. I'm learning a lot from all of you.

Here are pics of my husband putting the new trim on the front fenders, in the living room no less! Truck just finished being painted, now the fun begins we get to put all the nice trim and emblems on Yeah!

69chevygirl sounds like a heluva woman...my to-be-ex woulda yelled and complained for a month if I did that.
Well, I'm exadurating...but she'd mention it when ever there was any kind of stain in the carpet.
A 69 big block 3/4 ton....good paint color choice too, not one you see enough.

I do...if I took off my shoes in your house...you'd ask me to never return again. J/K...many do, many don't. depends on how long the carpet has been down mostly.

In Canada it's very rude to walk into someones house without taking your shoes off. You just don't see it happen. I cannot relax in my house with my boots on, funny.
Lets face it, with the weather we get most of the year taking your shoes off is pretty much mandatory. I bet most of our neighbours in Washington state take their boots off too!
Any hoo, great pics. I bet your treating those fenders like a newborn baby! Please keep them coming, and be sure to let us in on any assembly issues or tips you discover.

No Shoes

I hate wearing shoes and rarely do, barefoot is the best. My husband always yells about it he hates feet. Especially if I go in the garage or outside and track dirt back into the house. I do know some people that need to keep their shoes on though!

The truck's original color was turquoise (511) so we went with a pearl turquoise. It looks more blue in the pics but changes depending on the light from blue-green. I'll have to take the credit, since I picked it out.

He's probably going to freak, since he hates his pic on the web.

Letty

Way to go Mudder67, You can get a whole lot more done when you are in a comfortable place, and you can't get any more comfortable than the living room.

I have truck parts in almost every room in the house. Even had a couple tailgates in the spare bathroom for a couple months. I have had my newly painted inner fenders in the living room for the past couple weeks. I got now other place to put the stuff.

You have to take your shoes off in Canada, you can't have snow all over the carpet all the time.

I LOVE that living room Mudder! Thats a place a guy could feel comfortable, have a beer, watch a game, or do some wrenchin.

Once my boots go in the morning they don't come off until I'm ready for a shower in the evening. But then snow isn't a concern here either.

Mudder, if you put the tailgate across two of those tires you'd have the perfect coffee table. Or a nicely stained piece of wood on top of two tires. One piece of wood on one tire for end tables.

My wife won't even let me put die cast cars/trucks in the livinroom. At least she doesn't mind the Eagle statues. She still won't go for the Mossy Oak curtains or bed spread sets either.

I usually wear my shoes in the house, the wife and the daughters usually don't. They go through alot more socks than I do shoes too. They'll even walk outside in there socks and then complain that the ground is too cold or their socks are dirty and stained.
