Talking Winter's Project

Being winter is sorta like forever up here,(kidding, I really like winter) I thought I'd start up another project. What's another 'iron' in the fire?
I recently picked up a 71 2wd factory 402 truck with the intent on lowering it, adding some horse power and basically making a rod out of it.
To my amazement just as I started looking for parts to do all this I found a thread of another member selling exactly what I was planning on doing to mine, he was selling a blasted/painted frame with an ECE 4/6 drop and a cab that already had the body work done and was ready for paint! Talk about a time saver! So I picked it up.

Ya know Jeff, If you weren't so damn far away, I would be buying that burb from you right now. I have always wanted a classic that the entire family could cruise in.

Vt: looks like you have yourself a very worth while winter project there. Be sure to keep us updated with progress pics

Sorry Harold,
The swb 4x4 goes into winter hibernation to keep my blazer company.
The body work/paint will be done soon and having only 54,300 original miles on it I think I'll keep her close by for now but thanks for the offer.
