Truck, Burb or SUV ??

I think with a little work this could be a cool truck, of coarse it would have to be switched over to a 4x4 chassis first.

the Avalanche, before the plastic cladding!
that is nice, except IMO the drip rail rounding the rear doors and that little white gap look a little sloppy.

That is a sweet truck. If I had the money I would definately be putting a bid on it. If it were a lot closer I would definately bid on it.

It's just as worthless as the new trucks(?)
It's NOT a truck
It's a 'burb that you stuff gets rained on or stolen from.

I don't mind crew-cabs, as long as they have a real bed on the back. When you start taking from the bed to extend the cab, you have ruined the concept of a truck. What is the point of that little space w/o a roof over it? Buy a 'burb and forget it.
It's just another example of trying to be all things to all people....it doesn't work.

My mom has a '01 S10 crewcab....the bed is like 5' long. Good for what she uses it for, which is hauling mainly people, but its nice for hauling other, dirtier stuff that you don't want to put in the interior. Fits a riding lawn mower or 4 wheeler too. But pretty much useless as a real truck.....thats where my '72 with a 8' bed takes over

True LONGHAIR, not that much space to haul anything around back there. You gotta admit though, it still looks pretty cool. I would just use it to haul my camper around at best. just cruise around and turn some heads the rest of the time.

Have 2 72 3/4 4x4's, 90 x-cab 4x4, 02 Suburban, and 04 Avalanche. All have their place. Looking at a 05 Duramax now. They don't have to be all things to all people. They just have to please one person. Me.
