What is interchangable from a 250 and a 292?

I am looking for a 292 but am considering buying a 250 then upgrading and building a 292 when I can find one. What parts will and what parts will not interchange?

My best advice would be to get a copy of Leo Santucci's book on building the Chevy Six

Available at most any online bookstore, also at www.inliners.org

intake
exhaust
distributor
heads
valve cover
oil pan

There may be more, I'll look in Santuccis book and get a more complete list.
