column shifter
I am thinking of buying a billet column shifter and turn signal arm.
How do you install the column shifter? Also has any one bought these? Found some on ebay for 29.95 Thanks

I think they're just threaded on there. Some of them might have a set screw if I remember correctly? I have an idea for a column shifter I need to fiddle with. You know those handles on the beer taps at the bar? I want to use one of those for my column shifter. My dad gave me the idea about 10 years ago and I've never followed up on it. I'll post a pic if I ever get around to doing it.

This would be the whole arm not just the handle.

I think you can just drive the pin out and pull the shifter arm off.

Yeah just pop the pin out I put a later model in my 85 If you have a hard time geting it back in try different angles
I found that having the gearshift pulled back towards you helps .. As there is a spring in there you have to get the lever past. |
