Using a ford gas tank under bed.
My friendly local junk yard man told me that I can use a ford truck gas tank under my 69 SWB fleet as opposed to getting a blazer tank to put between the frame rails. Has anyone attempted this or know anything about it?

Hey frogs, I don't get it. Why wouldnt the gauge work? At most I would have to mess with/replace the sending unit. What are your thoughts?

It's a F*%d don't do it. Putting a F*%d gas tank in will surely have you messed up will leave you as F*%d spells backwards: Driver Returns On Foot.

different ohms............just save your time and lotsa hassle and git a blazer tank. I learned this the hard way. They are not that expensive, aint full of crap to start with, and fit the frame.
