69 GMC parts
I found a 69 GMC P/U for sale today, and wanted to put some feelers out there if there is any interest in parts? It's a 2WD, 283 4-sp, and comes with many extra parts. It's got some surface rust, but pretty solid (by MN standards). The rockers are the only thing that has major rust. I am going to use the box for the K/20 project, all other parts are up for grabs. Some of the extra parts include: guage cluster (non tach), 2 hoods w/ no holes drilled in them, heater box, 2 steering boxes, extra door glass (about 4 I think), and extra gas tank.
I'm going to take a closer look at it this weekend and see if I can get it for a fair price (I don't think it's worth the $1000 he's asking). If I do end up getting it, all prices for parts will be fair and reasonable. I'm in MN and will not ship large parts. Sorry I can not give any specifics yet as to part condition, I will keep you posted as soon as I get a better look at it. Paul

I'm going to pick up the truck on Friday morning - will get pics up by then too.
I've got two in line for the cab and one for the grille assy so far... Also included in the package (and for sale) is a set of (4) 5-lug rally wheels -these are the wider ones. Pics on everything coming friday... Paul

I drove the truck home today and it runs/drives great! I don't think I have it in me to take apart a solid, running truck. It has a leaf rear axle, and rallys. I have a lot of extra parts that I will post on here in the future.
gdf_77 - the cab has more rust on the floor than I thought. Also has that 'expand-a-foam' around both vent doors (they don't open). cojnit - the grille assy was hit on the pass side, and the rest of it is daily driver quality at best. wanted - I may have another cab off of the 72 K/20 - I'll keep you posted. Like I mentioned, I'll get pics/prices on all of the extra parts. Have a good weekend, Paul
