Wanted: 4BBl air cleaner spacer - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Need an air cleaner spacer for my truck, has a 4bbl Quadrajet. The spacer is like 2 or 3 inches tall and has the hose and fitting for the valve cover breather. The air cleaner is way too low on the engine and the breather on the valve cover is just hanging off to the side so I need this quick.

they sell spacers at just about all the parts stores. Auto Zone, Napa ect. I had the simular problem but I had a carter afb and I could not find a spacer for it, but I found plenty of spacers for the q-jets.

So autozone, etc should have the exact one I'm looking for? I think they just have the regular plastic spacers, not the original type that I need.

They in fact will not have the original type spacer. Sorry, I understood that you needed a spacer and not the original. You could probably use the autozone cheapy until you get the original.

If you haven't found one yet I have a nice clean original 4 bbl spacer and valve cover breather tube for $15 plus shipping. Don't have any pics right now but could post later if interested. No dings or dents, hose still has GM Gates part number visible.
