Z56 Tahoe

Just picked it up. It is a police edition tahoe, 99 with 2wd.

I am looking for the place to get some carpeting for the entire truck. Interior is dark blue. Also wondering what my wheel options are, currently it has black steels with the chrome centers. I know it is 5 on 5 but what other factory years and makes had wheels that I can go with. Not really looking into aftermarket that much. Thought about some impala SS wheels.

What shocks work well on this vehicle?? It is just a daily driver

I am using Monroe Reflex Truck shocks. I find they work well offering a nice ride, and still decent handling. The Impala wheels a great idea....they will look very cool. Personally, I would throw on a set of 18's or 20's, with a stock height tire. Wish I could find one of those Tahoes. i talked to a couple of cops, and they said those trucks handle real well

My daily driver is a camaro with a bunch of mods so i really cannot compare handling. Tires are pretty worn as well.

If you look up key motors there are a few of the trucks on there. Go for about 7K to 10K.

I got mine with upgraded chrome front, cd and xm unit, tint all around, new trans, new rear with 3.73s, intake fixed, all sorts of stuff. 130K on the clock for 4500. So i think i did well. I really do not like 20"s that much my buddy had them and they killed the ride quality. Maybe some 18's

Current ones are only 15's so the 17's should look alot better. See what happens.
