Always something Now BB wont start ?
You got to love the personality of these old trucks , we ran some errands about 4pm yesterday and checked out a new cruise spot close to home that opened while we were on vacation .
Went to take BB to the cruise at 7:30 he wouldn't turn over Guess he didn't want to go.

the top half of the fuse box is fed directly from the switch if I remember right. check the ignition switch.

What jhwkns said, the only time mine failed to start for me, that was the culprit. Good luck Bill.

That little box is the culprit about 85% of the time with these boys.I did away with mine when I rewired the engine compartment

Bill, when I first got my 71 bbc 3/4 Suburban it seemed like I was always replacing or repairing something, master cylinder, transmission filter and gasket, differrential oil and gasket, valve cover gaskets, oil pump, totally rebuilt Hei distributor with new wires, replaced heater core, changed 16.5 rims and tires to 16 inch ones and locating shorts in the electrical system,at the time I was doing all this I was like damn,am I ever going to get this thing at least running right. But I had to remember it had been sitting up for about 4 years, and plus I did all the work myself. But now I can get into it and drive anywhere...one word for you when working on these old trucks is PATIENCE...

Yup that's the way it is too Swbman,I got all the mechanics fixed, and felt like it was in good shape, and the heater core went,so now I have to do that tomorrow.
Just one piece closer to being new
