wheel wobble has me mad.
i think it all started that time my right front wheel fell off.... in my driveway... it broke some studs off but i replaced them. im not sure if the wheel was wobbling before then but neway.... the wheel was wobbling for a while when it was my daily driver. then we tore it down about a month ago and put a whole new front end on it.... im talking a-arm bushings, upper and lower, new ball joints, tie rods, has all new brakes, and all that. even has a new pitman arm.... any way i rotated the tires and everything and tonight we drove it and the wheel is STILL wobbling? so is the wheel bent or what do you think?

Sounds bent. Put a different wheel on and see if it wobbles!?!

Did the wobble move when you rotated the tires? If not it's something else.

If you still got drums in the front, make sure that little tang on the drum is in the locating hole on the hub. It is there to ensure that you put the drum back in the same orientation you had it before. Also there is a factory rivet that if the drum is not orientated properly, will cause the wheel to wobble because it will push the drum out slightly on one side.
Just some ideas, good luck.

I would also suggest you check the spindle hole in your wheels. There are some wheels with a slightly(and I do mean slightly) smaller center hole that will not seat properly on the drum.

well here's a dumb question but did you replace your wheel berrings? if you didin't you may have a bad one. if you did maybe the nut wasn't tight enough when you put the cotter pin in it.
anyway just another idea, ondrew |

jack the front of your truck up and try to wiggle the tire if it doesnt wiggle by had then it isnt your wheel bearing. as posted above it is probably the rivits on the drums. i had this problem when i went from steels to alum mags. pull your front tires off and grind the rivits off and put them back on. all problems fixed hopefully
