How to submodify Factory Speakers Into Disconnects

I went to put in a pair of speakers i had today They came out of a 98S10 and the leads were differnt I had one lead for the speakers and i could have cut the factory harness ends off like many people do when installing aftermarket speakers Althou some buy the adaptors

But Since the stock speakers were bunk i figured id use them to make disconnects.

Removing the piece from the speaker is pretty easy i just snipped it off with Some wire cutters Then removed the solder and old wires that were going to the voice coil..

Then i soldered leads onto my speaker Would work better on an aftermarket ..
Then attached the wires to the disconnect like the factory had them soldered them up covered them with heat shrink as they will be flopping around in the cab cavity .

When i do my front speaker swap wich will be Some aftermarkets I plan on doing the same On any vehicle for that mattter.
