What is this used for?
I found this piece tonight. It looks like it goes on driver side rear of a quadrajet but what is it for?
Thanks

Thats what I was thinking Bob. The spring would connect to the back. What about that hole toward the front there?

It could be to mount to another bracket maybe? I don't know of anything that could go there but then all of my trucks were thoroughly molested prior to my buying them so I've never seen a factory setup.

its the throttle cable bracket......bolts on thru the rear carb stud, and the other bigger hole in it is where the throttle cable goes thru, then the other tab is for the return spring.
