bumper, grill, & light bezel?
in light of last nights "occurance" I am on the hunt for repair parts for my '68 GMC. normally it wouldnt be a problem except for the fact that my truck HAD a good straight NON-chrome grille, bumper & headlight bezel. I just looked through the board vendors & did not see any "paintable" parts. just chrome. where do I get these. NOTE; I do NOT want any chrome on my truck. it didnt have any from the factory & I want to keep it that way. this is the reason I have wanted this particular truck from the first day I saw it over 20 years ago.
TIA Todd

What would the grill and headlight buckets be worth to you? I have nice ones on this truck and had thought about going to chrome/aluminum.

Ive got a complete 68 GMC painted grille assembly. It's in Calgary Alberta. I will ship it if you can't find one. I went with a 68 chev grille.

You could get new bright pieses, toss them in a sand blaster to roughen them up, and then paint them.
or at least on your estimate you could do this anywas. |
