FS 67-72 factory tach cluster
Exellent shape, no cracks. Taken out of a 72. Oil press, water temp, vac, and volt guages. Great for someone restoring a 67-72 and wants factory gauges. Bezel needs modification to fit 1/2 tons, or new bezel.

Morning addict,
Welcome to the board. Would you mind posting the price? It's policy on this board that all parts for sale shall have a price posted. Josh (head honcho here) says to research the item if needed to determine a price that you're comfortable with, but nevertheless, post a price.

Well, is it still for sale on here? Three people were inquiring here, but now it is on Ebay? Are you going to pull it off Ebay and sell to one of us?

Yes. If I sell it here I will take it off Ebay. And Jose, there are pics of it in the Ebay link. There are kinda blurry, but I suck at taking pictures. |

First and foremost... welcome to the board from central ohio.
just FYI addict76...that will not bolt directly up to any pick up... it is out of a C/40 and up truck...if the bezel was replaced for a truck unit, (new flashey chrome...and it would actually bolt up to a pick up...and can be had for 20 bucks) not only would the e-bay sale claim be acurate, but it would bring in more cash too. I'm not trying to 'diss' you or chace off the new guy or anything like that...I actually hope you stick around with more parts...esp the hard to find ones. I just wanted you to be informed so a potential buyer is not misinformed and in turn, leaves you bad feedback when the part doesn't fit as described. Judgine by your username...I'll asume you don't mess with the 67 - 72 trucks much, and this would be an easy mistake to make. |

Yeah, I realize that now. It could be cut out pretty easily, but I guess some people wouldn't want to do that. Where can you pick up the new bezels? Maybe I should restore it before I sell it like it is. I will make sure that I tell the buyers that the bezel either needs modification, or replacement. Yeah, I may have some more parts. What are some common or hard to find parts that people would look for? |

Withdrawing My Offer.
Sorry, I am getting a little nervous over this thread. I also PM'd and offered to buy it, but I am withdrawing that offer. Looks like he is doing alright in Ebay and really didn't need our $$$ afterall.

Good to know the $$ means more than one's word.
Should have put it on e-gay in the first place if he had no intensions of selling it here. And people wonder why others are leary of buying stuff on the internet. I HATE dealing with people like this.

Sorry if I came accross as being an ass. Yes I put it on ebay. I posted a link for anyone who wanted to bid on it. If you don't like ebay, fine, but I have a right to put it on ebay just as anyone has a right to bid on it.
I don't get a chance to get on here often, so sorry if I didn't get a chance to reply to your PM. The first offer I got was $175. I was then offered $200 through paypal, but I'm not set up for it. Another offer for $200 was from someone else. Others said they would take it so I posted the ebay link for them to bid if they wish. I first came on here to gain info on the value of the piece. I knew it was rare, so I said I'd accept the highest offer. I was then told I HAD to post a price, so I did. I set the ebay reserve to $250 because all of the pieces with the tach AND vacuum gauges go for much higher than that. There is one on ebay for $375, but the bezel is in a little better shape than mine, but its not even an origional, nor does it have any wiring included. So I thought $250 was was fair. If you really want the piece, you are welcome to bid through ebay. If you don't like ebay, I can't help that. Or if you think I'm an ass and refuse to deal with me, then there's not much I can do about that either. |
