4x4 adapter ???

Can a NP205 AT adapter be used on a 700R4 tranny, I got a guy that asked me about this? Thanks Randy

Don't forget that the 700R4 will need a special output shaft.

Or a spacer that lets you use the origanal shaft the spacer kit is like $75 and the shaft $150 tha thaft will be 1in shorter then the spacer if space is an issue.

Who sells the spacer kit? I've heard rumors, but never seen a place where I could buy it.

Spacer

I put a 205 behind my 700r in my 83K5 If you go with the Spacer you will need 4 metric bolts or all thread and you have to grind about 1/8 off each shaft so they will not bind up and so you can seal the two up.
In the pic's you can see the spacer...

71 GMC 3/4 4x4 That doesn't need much which is a good thing I don't think I could aford another money pit...
