My 68 was a radio-delete truck, so it had no hole in the cowl.

ditto i didnt have to look far. but to find one i think you could just find a L6 stick C-10 truck and you would have one.

I have seen several on trucks here and there.

As far as value of one, ten minutes in the shop will make any of them a hole delete cowl though. I'd think shipping costs would be way more than someone would pay to keep from having to shave their own.

I agree! My original one was hole-less , but the bars were not all that straight. I found another locally that was mint, filled the hole, and away I go! I still have the hole-less one, but I would imagine shipping would be more than the part is worth. If you don't have the ability to do it, a good reputible (sp?) local body shop that knows what they are doing should be able to fill it for a decent price.

For what it's worth, I wouldn't pay more for a hole-less one -vs- one with a hole, just because of the lack of a hole. I would, however, pay more for the one in better condition, regardless of whether or not there was a hole.
