Best place to get new rear leaf springs?

I need to quit working on the 2wd for a bit so I can get my 4wd ready for winter. I would like to replace the rear springs on my 70, as she sags real bad when sitting on a level surface.

Out of all my parts catalogs I have, I can only find 2wd springs (except for LMC). Where, oh where to look?

or try Teeitup. I was over there the other day and Randy had a set of rear springs. I think I counted 11 springs. That should hold her up.

For a quick fix until you tear into the truck, consider installing Off Road Design's Zero Rate Add-a-Leafs. They are a true add-a-leaf in that the center bolt goes thru them. Instant one inch lift for $40 unless you need longer u-bolts. Maybe your u-bolts have one inch of threads left? ORD is near Glenwood Springs/Carbondale.

If you want new, heavy duty springs with a better ride than stock, order customs springs from Alcan Spring in Grand Junction. They have you weigh the truck empty and then ask what weight loads you want to be able to carry. They'll fab springs to match your truck and anticipated loads. You could drive down for a "fitting." The springs will likely cost more, but they'll ride better than off-the-shelf springs and they'll have many thin leaves with quality features like bolt clamps, diamond cut tips, etc. If money is no object, consider a lift all around.
