Is there any difference????

I am curious.. Is there any difference in the th400 trans pivot point located on the frame and the 4x4 pivot point? In the pictures I have, they look to have the same basic shape, am I correct? Don't have 4x4 -yet- to look at. Thanks Harold

I have a '69 Gmc 2wd with a 350/th-400, and it came with the bracket on the right, and I have a '69 chevy 2wd that had a 396/th-400, and it has the bracket in the middle. So, I believe it is BB/SB that made the difference in the bracket, and not the trans.

I have the two on the right, th350 2wd and 2wd th400 pivot points, but now I also have an extra th400 pivot and thought that they may be the same as the 4x4 (hoping anyway). I'm trying to get some 4x4 pieces together, so when I find the truck, I'll be ready to go. Thanks for the replies. Harold
