tha (a sub for e) truck, dam* truck, sorry truck, your truck (according to my wife), my truck, ugly truck (and yes some past land lord called it ugly and i had to move it, but i kindly reminded him that his late 80's model gold Topaz was uglier if not the ugliest), old pickup, or the CE project.

Depends on the time of day and whom you're talking to.

I've only had it a month,no name yet.
I call it "A beautiful piece of machinery" cause the kids say it's ugly. That's not really a name though

It's black with a blue hood, and the inside of the bed is green, kinda looks like a bruise

when I dragged mine home a year ago, the female person who lives in my house called it " that piece of sh*t. with 4 flat tires" Now that it's running & more or less driveable she calls it "your truck",I refer to it as my "project". on good days. and "this f***ing thing" on bad days. What I call the female person who lives in my house is another story all together.

When I first fired my 68 up after it had sit in a feild for 3 years, it shook the walls and rattled the windows in the house. Of course it had a ill adjusted carb with trash in it, 3 year old gas and spark plugs, the timing was whacked and it wouldn't idle below 3k rpm so you can imagine how rough it ran.
Girlfriend came outside and called it a Beast. The name stuck.

Now any time the two of us go some where without the kids she always asks, "are we taking the Beast?" Of course she knows the answer before she asks. I'd rather drive the "Beast" than anything else we own.

My K-10 is called Mr. O , The reason being is he came from Texas and when I brought the truck back to Colorado I immediately took the truck and a friend up to our cabin in Craig, CO. Elevation is 8000 ft and the cabin is 10 miles into the Routt Nation Forest. We damn near had to walk out becuase Mr O was sputtering something fierce going from sea level to 8000 ft. My friend kept saying OMG is it going to run??? Then in talking he discovered I was going to paint the truck Orange so he says as we just made it out of the mountain..."This is Mr O, for OMG we made it out and the fact that he will be Orange someday soon". My Lowered C-10 is called "Inferno" just because she's all bright Torch Red.

My brother had an 84' 4x4 with a 6in lift and 38's painted blue. The summer after she was completed, he nick named her Summer Time Blues (back when the Allen Jackson song was popular). The name meant even more to me after he told me the stories of how he reenacted the video for that song. Mud Donuts and all…

back when i was a redneck i called it "The General" as in General Lee, but now that i live in the big city Baby seems more appropriate . . . baby the throttle, baby the wheels, baby the steering, baby the brakes . i was much happier being a redneck.

All my friends all said it was a hoss truck, so we all call it Hoss (or the hoss, as in "can you take me home in the hoss?")

Usually i call it "the truck" or "my truck", but its official name is Old Ochre, due to its age and the Ochre paint
