I'm a huge #3 fan, but I wouldn't even want that on the tailgate. I'd also want the extra paint to cover it up. It takes away from the whole truck. Otherwise an incredibly nice truck.

I like the truck, especially the head liner/over head console. Nice flames too.
But I'm wondering why 2 frenched antennas?

P.S. He says it's a 68 but I think I just read in another thread that 72 was the only model that had the screw in the door under the vent glass??

I have seen that truck at local shows and at Pacific Raceways...it is excellent craftsmanship. There are always things that someone would change on a truck like this...personal taste. It is a shame too since the quality of the work and paint are so darned good. It makes it very difficult to justify a high price when there are things that you would change. I guess that is why I like mine pretty plain.

the yellow one has 72 door panels, and rear vew mirror??? wierd. i like the corvette tailights tho, they look good on it.

the orange one looks like it has 67 fenders, no maker lights?? i guess they probly shaved them. sure doesnt look like a 98,000 doallr truck though. i'd rather buy a house

no hinge springs?

There are no springs on the hood hinges, so how is that hood staying UP in the pictures? Lots of great attention to details with this truck.

I've seen both of those trucks at one of the shows this summer. They are very well done. The flames on the orange truck and the details under the hood are very nice. Not sure about $86K though. Maybe high $20's-low $30's?

Looks to me like a LED light bar that has been smoothed in. I got an article on how you do it. You use filler right over the lense and sand it down till it shows up again. Result- Light that matches the body contour perfectly. If done right, you wouldn't even know it's there if you ran you hand across it.
Very cool touch

Sorry guys but I think that truck is very ugly and disgusting, I mean there is not anything better than a COMPLETLY STOCK 1960-1970 Chevrolet and or GMC pickup with none of this orange paint or stupid gauges, all of that is BS and totaly lacks style.
I mean I'm all for modifying cars or trucks but some people go to far.

I agree! Not to slam fans of Nascar but that's a fairly personalized tailgate to be asking $86,000 for! Not EVERYONE is a fan of Nascar, including myself.
