72 Drivers Side Door Glass

I recently had the drivers side door glass come loose fron the metal u shaped channel it sits in. The rubber that lined the channel was all deteriorated and broke apart. What is the fix for this as far as reattaching the glass to the channel?

Your best bet is take the parts, (sash and window) to a decent glass shop. They sould stock the rubber and normally it is a nominal charge for them to reassemble it.

I bought my new channel felt from board vendor ****************. I think they are only about $10. I haven't installed it yet, so I don't know what adhesive to use.

I'm not talking about the channel felt. I'm talking about the glass attachnment to the regulator assembly on the bottom edge of the glass.

I was referring to the window and sash which is how I understood the question. You can buy the rubber strips but by the time you pay shipping and possibly mess it up, a glass shop can have it fixed and ready to go.

My local glass shop provides the rubber and installation to do a vent window and it is $5 which is not too bad. I have tried installing new rubber into the sash and installing the window but it is easily ripped and not worth the effort for me.
