Question i need some quick advice on this cab

hello all i have been offered a free 79 4x4 a/c cab but i was wondering will this work with my 84 2wd truck frame, time is running out on this he wants it out of his way......... help!!!

It will work if you use the mounts to match the frame. I junked a truck this summer that had an 81-87 cab on a 73-80 frame. The difference in the mounts is the OD of the cushion that sits on the frame. If I remember correctly the later cushions are bigger.

I have heard that the 4X4 cab has a taller center hump...
