POSI value

i have a 72 chevy rear, complete 2wd with 3.07 gears and posi. 5 lug axles, ect.

how much is a reasonable price for it?

several people only want the gears and posi carrier... and not the housing or axles.

whats the best way to sell it, and what are each individual items worth... like if someone only wants the guts, is the housing worth whatever for scrap?

i dont want to sell just the good parts and be stuck with the heavy, junk housing is what im saying... please help

thanks, zach

Is it from a coil spring or leaf rear suspension?

I'd say $250-$300 for the complete rearend. I've sold a couple of posi units without the housing & axles for $150-$200 and had no trouble finding buyers.

ok, 250-300. i think thats reasonable.

i'd reather not ship it. there pretty dang heavy to be worth it.

and it IS a coil spring rear. no trailing arms or springs though.
