quistion of value

i just bought a 79 lwb c-10 and a 77 swb c-10 with a bent frame the 79 is very nice the guy bought it off of an old man and pulled the motor but it is very nice the 77 is totalled it still has a good front clip on it which i intend to keep but i am going to pull the motor and trans and put them in the 79 and then repaint it and try to sell it, i was wondering if you guys thougt that i would be able to get 2000 thousand dollars out of a decent 79 c-10, i am a 67-72 guy and dont know much about the value of these later model trucks, what do you guys think.

Definitly. If the body is nice, and runs decent (plus you will have repainted it, that raises the value), you should get 2,000 out of it easily. May take a little longer to sell since it is a lwb...but still 2,000 isnt bad at all.
