My book doesn't even have your block casting #'s, but is says your heads are a '77 - '86 350.
Just another option, but I have proved it wrong before. ------------------ '69 G.M.C. 350/350. VC243800 is impossible, recheck it, it will be V02-----
the last three should be letters beginning with C or T(90% of all blocks do after 69) V is foundry plant, next four digits are date code 02 would be february, and next two wil be day of the month, IE no higher than 31 and the last three are the suffix stamping code that tells you all the good stuff ------------------ Randy- Lincoln, IL r68c30@hotmail.com 71 C-10, trying to assemble....sigh.. parting out 5.0LTPI '81 cutlass supreme brougham *Paint is overrated © RSS Enterprises 2000 |
