XMas get together/ Toy Drive - N.texas
My wife works for PISD, and we do a toy drive every year for The Scottish Rite Hospital. Anyone interested in doing a get together on the East Side of Dallas this time. Perhaps in the Rockwall/Greenville area?
If so, I would need some help getting the arrangements on when would be best for date and time. There is a BBQ place in Rockwall and Royse City. That I could possibly set up. And everyone would need to bring an unopened new toy. 5.00 - 10.00 range. Do what I usually do, go to Dollar General and get a bunch for that.. PLMK, James |

Oh meant to say, PISD employees usually donate in the 1000.00 range total..
Last year we had around 300 toys. |

I made the last one West of Fort Worth and would be willing to do it again.

I'd love to participate in something like this. Wish I were closer.

After looking thru the dates. The only best possible is Dec. 11th
We have Scottrish Rite pick up the toys on the 17th of Dec. If anyone has objections to the 11th, PLMK.... We can do it at Solmans BBQ in Rockwall... Eastbound side of I30, Take the Ridge Road exit. In the cluster of resturants along with Chilis and Discount Tire. Before Home Depot. |

There is plenty of parking to the side and back of the resturant. I'll go speak with the manager tomorrow and make sure it will be ok. A few hot rod trucks will surely bring in a crowd for him. And I'll see if I can get him to offer us a discount on BBQ.
I'm thinking arounf 2-3pm, is that good for everyone? |
