This is a wierd question, but does anyone know what the biggest gas engine Chevy ever made for any vehicle was? Say 1964 to present. Thanks.

The bore is 4.3 inch, the stroke is 4.304 X 8 cylinders....comes out to 500 cubic inches. For those of us who can't do this kind of math, you can use a number of on line calculators to find the volume of an engine....like THIS ONE The caddy is 500 cubes...or 8.19 liters for all the metric fans out there. |

I know it's a GMC motor but we should include the 702ci/11.5L V12/twin V6.

LOL! You ever looked at the early to mid '80s front wheel drive hayns/chiltons manuals?
In the trouble shooting section of the book for my old Citation, it said if there is a metalic clicking noise as you drive slowly down the road, to inspect the U-JOINTS!! |
