Interchangeability - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

We all know that Chevy, GMC, Olds, Pontiac, Buick, Caddy made millions of vehicles. Sometimes parts for these trucks are hard to find.
Just a suggestion, maybe a page could be started on the reviews page or FAQ that would list other models that will fit or are exact replacement parts.

I am looking for the heat shield for the drivers side exhaust on a 4x4. That would make it for a straight dump. Besides Corvette, what other vehicles had straight dumps and in the Corvettes, did any have both straight dump and left side? Any other models?

Thanks. I need to broaden the search.
