Red, Green, and Gold...well Chevy orange, green, and gold

It's on the road after sitting for 1 1/2 years. It was a small block/4speed truck that had a fender bender and was canabalized for the small block 4 speed parts (another project). It now sports a 67 250 engine and 3-on-the-tree manual. Notice to ultra-rare and highly desirable oil bath cleaner :p .

It also sports the Jr West Coast Mirrors and Dog dish hubcaps (GMC

)

This truck will be used as winter transportation (4:11 posi rear). If you wish to save it from the further carnage of salt, please send donations to...

Actually Andy, it's the wrong paint code, 68Suburban and I had covered that question a couple years ago.

I've spent the last 2 years trying to convince a local idiot that his burb is nothing special. he is "storing it for a future resto"...the sucker is one salt season from being worthless. I've showed him adds from magizines, factory photos, factory papers....

Maybe even some "extra" burb seats if you need 'em.

Wish I never sold my"rare 3dr".I was stupid,I thought a 4dr would be rarer.The only thing I thought was rare on that`71 CustomDeluxe was the 402 w/400 badge & 396 on the Vin-Spec Sheet.Then I found out that was common so I sold it since it wasn`t a CheyenneSuper.

By the way.I hate to tell you,but that L/F fender is"incorrect".You,ll notice upon close inspection there is no side marker light,thus making it a,67 piece making it an obvious replacement.Some much for Concours!
