I found a tilt :)
I could not believe it myself.I was crusing the bone yards in San Diego( never anything good) when I look in a van and find a nice tight tilt. I am still in shock. These yards are literally raped of any and all parts and I found a diamond in the rough.Anyone else just have good luck?

Yeah every now and then I have a lucky streak.
Did you ever notice in a situation like that, the whole truck will be bent twisted and rusted, and there will be one piece that is just outstanding good shape? Wonder why that is?

My best junkyard score was about 15 years ago. I had a vette.... ok my dreams, Chevette that needed a new carb to pass smog. Thing was close to $300 at the parts house. Went to pick-n-pull and found a brand new one! Price? $15 plus tax. The poor guy musta bolted that carb on and drove around the corner and wrecked it!! There was'nt the first bit of road grime on it. Don't have a nice 67-72 score yet.... But I'm lookin!

Last year: $15 for a set of tow hooks at Pick-n-Pull and sold them for $280 on E-bay.
All I need to do is find 377 sets a year and I can quit my day job.
