Parting 86 Suburban

Have sold a few parts of off it, but the majority of stuff is still there. Anything/Everything goes. Prefer not to ship the larger stuff. Let me know what you need, and I might have it. I have a website with some pictures of it and of some of the parts, http://www.bright.net/~commagic/forsale.htm

I haven't forgotten about ya Joe I've been thinking about pulling the nose off and engine out. I figured once I do that I was gonna shoot ya a message to see if you still needed it.

rolson1039 - some of the a'c stuff is already gone (plastic pieces and dash pieces) I might still have some of the piping inder the dash, and I think the outside plastic box under the hood is still good. Let me know if you are interested in just that stuff.

jberkley - will do!

gldevall - will get some pics as soon as I can do it in daylight (prob Thursday)

rolson1039,

I have a complete fiberglass underhood housing (actually 2 pieces) for an '87 Burban. If all you want is the housing I'll take $20 + shipping. Let me know if you're interested.

Dale

Actually, now that I think about it:

You said your truck is non-A/C? Do you still have the original underhood housing or is that the one that is cracked?

We just removed the inside housing from the '87 Burban this morning. The wiring is intact. As I said before I have the 2 piece housing under the hood.

Our truck is becoming non-streetable and hasn't had A/C for years. I was thinking about replacing the underhood housing with a non-A/ C unit to make more room in the engine compartment.

I am concerned with location of the holes in the firewall but can probably make things work. Could you post some pics of the housing and the firewall holes. I will try to get some of mine and post them.

Thanks, Dale

gldeval - I took a couple pics of the tail lights and put them up on the site at http://www.bright.net/~commagic/tlights.htm

kblazer87 - I priced it to another guy for $250 (fenders, hood, complete grill, inner fenders, bumper). The hood has had surface rust before, as have the tops of the fenders. To my knowledge, they were replaced new at some point due to a front end collision, but never painted. I sanded them down once and primered them, but it is wearing thin and starting to show surface rust again. If interested, we could work something out. The passenger fender has a small dent in it at the top toward the front. You can see some pics of the front at http://www.bright.net/~commagic/frontend.htm

dott - sounds like you can help fix rolson 1039 up.
