tires?

I'll be looking for new tires in the next few months...I have 33x12.5x15 BFG A/T on the Blazer now...i'm looking for the same size, but possibly something a little more aggressive looking. It is a daily driver with 2" lift. I am thinking about either BFG M/T or Trxus STS...anyone have on/offroad reviews on these or any otehr suggestions?

Thanks, -Nick

Go with the M/T from BFG.....awesome tire. They look bada$$ perform offroad like no other, and wear for 4 times what a swamper does. I got em on the big red monster, an the only thing I regret is not gettin the 36's. They are worth the money for sure!

Hey nick i see you sold the blazer, where did it go now.I do miss it from time to time but sometimes things just don't work out for whatever reason, anyhow pro-comp tires are rated at 40,000 miles.

i sold it to a guy i work with who wanted a truck for hunting...it just needed way too much work for me to do (I bought an '85 Blazer). I replaced the exhaust on it before I sold it but it still needed some more stuff to pass inspection (the inspection expired and it had been sitting since your inspection had expired)...maybe one day i'll get another 69-72 Blazer

I got some i'm looking for 31x10.5"s

these are 33x12.5x15"

20/32nds of tread left even all the way around.

Am also willing to sell them.

What condition are the A/Ts you have?

These tires have been great for me, I took them off-roading in some rocks one time and they did awesome, have 6 ply tread and 3 ply sidewall plus the bead protection.

Alright, let's get serious.

BFG has announced a new Mud Terrain /km. No, that's not a Krawler, though the tread design has not been finalized. Expect new MTs next year. 4-ply sidewalls with a long wearing tread.

Could somone post the image. I'm computer semi-illiterate.

Patience, patience.

We know any reworking of the popular MTs will be done for all popular sizes. Next summer is the supposed target release. No promises. Just patience.

Thanks for the image upload.

I've got Mickey Thompson Baja Claw Radials on my Z71. I'm liking them a lot so far (only 3K miles) and have been told they should last me 40K or so

Kumho's

I like BFG's but I think I will go with Kumho Venture MT's they are little cheeper and the one write up I read on them they got a thumbs up for wear and off road use.

Let`s not overlook the Goodyear MTRs.I`ve always had the attitude that Goodyear tires were overpriced and yet off-beat with the true off-road world, until now. These tires are in the price range with the other"top-shelf" off-road tires.4Wheel&Offroad tested them with the other top-rated off-road rubber and they came out as one of the best. They launched in the mud the best(over Swampers). You know they`ll wear well. With a 5-star rating system(5 high). They got all 4s,the only one.I have 35s on my`91 Sub,they`re smooth on the hiway, quiet, and give excellent traction in the mud.I run Swamper SSRs on my `95K3500(yeah,a bit better in the mud). They actually wear better than you`d think(on second set).I got about 30,000+mi.It`s a work truck w/utility bed&ladder racks and loaded most of the time.I`m sure on a Blazer they`d do better. They let you know they`re there, but that`s my kinda truck. They ride nice on the road.

Good tires. But this "schmucko" thinks you should have them on 8.5" rims for any serious off-roading unless your using beadlocks.
