My 72 has a Holly Carb on it with the stock air cleaner. Is this stock? Sorry if this is a stupid question just curious.

Looks like they only came w/ Rochester Carbs !! Stock from the factory !!

it is probably a holley #4175 spreadbore carb. it is a direct replacement for a q-jet, and bolts to a q-jet manifold.

Thanks just checking! I am having the same problem that someone else was having; it spurred the Holly vs Edelbrock thread. And I am one day putting an Edelbrock on my truck!

No such thing as a dumb question either man. We all started n this hobby not knowing anything. I remember asking my dad questions, and he said "I dunno, go ask a mechanic." So I did.
You have about 3500 mechanics here. ![]() ------------------ '69 G.M.C. 350/350. Trying to clean up the left over damage from the Dope-Smokin-Old-Man I've been dubbed the Longhorn Freak/Fanatic/Expert, I just hope I can live up to it.
