Thats exactly what I was thinking of (same wheels too) Either Flat black with white pin striping or Flat chocolate brown with cream pinstiping with a 69 front end and a front and rear roll pans

The big difference between the two is the style of wheels. The black one has more spokes and a smooth center. It may even be a 17. I have seen trucks with that wheel in a 20" and it actually looks pretty good...

More pics of the black one. Those are 17's and they are "true knock offs".

More info here

That black one looks pretty good I would never have even thought about wire wheels on the 67-72 body style....

Never would have given wires the time of day on a
67-72 but after looking at the black one, I would have to say that looks good.

yeah his wires are tastful with no spinners or gold. It was pink primer before but didn't look has good has the black. I think any bigger and they'd look tacky.

>X<, I couldn't agree more. I have no idea why someone would do that, it just looks so out of place. Sorta like the punks around here that put chrome door edge guard around the entire frame of the door and around the trunk lid of their ricers.

Gee, I wonder why? Maybe if you look for web-sites that are "South of the Border" or based in LA you'll find more of that "style".

Some things just aren't made for each other, IMHO.
