Hidden wiring???
Can I get some ideas and pics on how to hide the wiring under the hood? PLEASE, thanks guy.

on my truck i put the wiring going from the fuse block to the headlights under the fender above the nner fender, then across the rad support under the rad hold downs. and the other side goes up the fire wall in to the loom thingy on the top and across to the other fender same as the other side. then the alternator stuff runs down the fire wall by the valve covers to the alternator. everything is in the black wire loom

My wire bundle runs under left fender to RAD support. Then under the RAD suppot channel ( that wasn't fun ) and then it comes out under the BATT box. All is pretty much hidden.

Put all mine in loom like 70 short did. Except for right at the firewall, no wires can be seen.

I put my fuse box in the driver's side fresh air vent in the kick panel. Right now all the wiring is run under the cab and inside the frame rail, but I plan to re route it through the cowl area once I weld up the cowl vents and antenna hole.

Good question! I am in the process of removing the manual gear box for A TH400.

To my knowledge noone makes the little blank off for the firewall clutch hole. You need to find a junk cab that had an auto trans. or just make the blank-off out of sheet metal and secure with one screw and gasket or weld in.

There factory spot welds. One day I plan on doing A frame off. Then I will shave the firewall. As of now when I pop the hood to show somebody they pretty much freak out because they don't expect it to look that nice, and believe me it looks awesome. You really don't notice the spot welds.

There is a factory block off plate for the clutch rod hole.There is a gasket.And it is held on by 2 screws.Maybe some can post a pic of it!

3-M makes a clutch delete plate product. It's cheap & easy to install, Comes in a roll that's a nice silver finish,and sticky on one side. It has many other uses too.

purple gas, You'd be really amazed at what you can do with the adhesive backed aluminum that the hvac guys use. I once saw one of my teenage neighbors rechrome a bumper with it and chrome his differential cover too!
 He was so proud of himself.
