You obviously enjoy a challenge!

But I have so much faith in you, I'm going to pimp the last thing you will probably install. A new dash.

P.S. Save the metal (unmolested) from the original dash. I think Just Dashes can use it to build a new dash around, if only as a core exchange.

Re: 69 panel

well 1.5 years later, and here's the progress... put new motor in (6cyl was shot).. converted to 350/TH350, used miracle paint on frame, fixed deathtrap floorpans, new exhaust (was getting headaches from fumes) completely new braking system with power booster added, new lines, master, etc. New wheels/tires from board member, painted in my garage flat black, expedition console installed. Upcoming.. this summer, gonna pull body off, new NRG suspension grommets/hardware, powdercoat frame xmembers, disc brakes new sheet metal on front clip, new goodmark doors, 502 Ramjet or 383 vortec?, install leather seats 3 rows. Do Zumo inspired paint scheme.

Re: 69 panel

I am also thinking of putting some speakers under the back seat but not really sure what box to use or which would be the best speakers. I am not very good when it comes to speakers ect. I will be running the wires when I put in better carpet under the seats and also some sound deading material. Good luck with your project.
