WTB 55-57 Chevy or GMC Truck or Suburban

Friends dad is looking for a project around $1500. 55-57 Chevy or GMC Truck or Suburban. The closer to California the better.

For that price...pickup yes, Burb doubt it. A rough Burb will go for $2000, a complete one with 3 row seats about $4-4.5K . That is unless you get lucky .

There is a friend that has a truck for sale in Gridley California. It is a 59 GMC longbed but he also has a 56 Chevy front end off of a bigger truck and a small window cab with doors. He was asking 800.00 for everything. I have posted some pictures, let me know if you need more.

I have a 57 chev panel, little rusty, lots of extra parts. Kicker is its in Alberta Canada. I have the engine and tranny that came out, extra cab and front clip, 57 and 55 grills. Most of the rust is the rear quarters, someone with some talent and time can restore this easily. looking for around 1500 canadian, but Im open to offers. Email at oberten@telusplanet.net
